 Paul, a colleague of mine, received a car from his brother as a Christmas gift. On Christmas Eve when Paul came out of his office, a boy was walking around the shiny new car,  41  it.

  “Is this your car, Mister?” he said.

  After a moment, the boy turned with his  47  shining, saying, “Mister, would you mind driving me to the front of my house?”
