When we describe the moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves.
The only thing that can be observed is a feeling of emptiness, being lost, deadness, futility, and so on, coupled with an apparently lifeless acceptance of everything that has been offered.
We've found the addition of the stainless inserts counteracts much of this potential deadness.
