Ms Pethrick was standing on a river bank Wednesday afternoon when the saltwater crocodile lunged, locking its jaws on both her legs at it tried to drag her underwater.
The privilege of swimming face-to-face with massive saltwater crocodiles is offered by the Crocosaurus Cove theme park in Darwin, Australia, the Daily Mail of London reported.
"It's able to get up and gallop, unlike the saltwater crocodiles that live nearby, " he says.
