Jacko told David that he had noticed one of his paintings on the wall of director Steven Spielberg's office and wanted him to paint a series for him.
As Jacko-mania reaches fever pitch, tabloid stories about the secretive King of Pop begin to circulate, including rumours that he had undergone plastic surgery and skin bleaching.
But, sadly, for now he will be remembered by many as "Wacko Jacko" rather than the King of Pop.
His one-gloved eccentric style also earned him plenty of critics and another nickname, "Wacko Jacko."
