There are as many ideas and ideals as there are men of good will who will hold them in their minds and act them in their lives.
The Lefebvrists apologised to the pope “and all men of good will” over any offence caused, but not specifically to the Jews.
The question is not whether we wish to see everybody as well off as possible. Among men of good will such an aim can be taken for granted.
