Oxygen may be withdrawn as a gas by passing liquid through an internal vaporizer or as a liquid under its own vapor pressure.
Customer installations generally include a tank, vaporizer, and pressure control manifold (see Fig. 3).
Vaporization: The user can withdraw liquid phase through an external vaporizer, thereby converting the liquid to gaseous product. This is the preferred method for high flow requirements.
Vaporization: Add 10 drops of undiluted essential oil to the water unit of a vaporizer or humidifier.

The vapor flow rate is determined by both the temperature of the vaporizer and the setting of the conductance of the mechanical throttle valve located between the vaporizer and the vacuum chamber.
