ABOUT two hours’ flight north of Maputo, the Mozambican capital, lies the town of Tete on the crocodile-infested banks of the Zambezi river.
With emerging economies such as those of China and India crying out for more coal, the basin around Tete is expected to play a big part in developing Mozambique's fledgling economy.
Of peculiar interest is Dui'Yu'Shi or Tete-a-tete Rock which is two tall slender rocks sharing a single base, one slightly taller than the other, looking like two persons whispering intimately to each other.
The Office is currently planning to set up a hotel complex in the city of Tete.
