Ioftenrecallthosegoodolddayswhenlifewassimpler,andpeopl...

I often recall those good old days when life was simpler, and people were much more friendly and gentle. Recently I got the chance to experience that same warmth that I thought had disappeared from the world.

I was out shopping the other day with my husband, two daughters and one granddaughter. It was very hot and we were all tired and hungry. We entered a restaurant, looking for some food and comfort.

To our surprise, all the tables were taken and no one seemed in a hurry to get up. We waited, tired, hungry and impatient. After quite some time, one table for two was available, but that could seat only two of us. My daughters made me sit along with their father, while they stood alongside.

My granddaughter sat on my lap as we looked around us, waiting for another table to be available. Nearby two young girls were witting at a table for four and were enjoying their meal. We decided to move to their table once they finished their lunch.

Since the girls had just got their order, I knew it would be a long wait. As we were deciding on what to order, the girls got up and offered their table to us. They said they would move to our table . The girls quickly picked up their plates and glasses and went to sit at our table.

That day, I thought to myself that there still were some kind and helpful youngsters in this fast-developing, non-caring world. My belief in humanity (人*) was restore once again, although after a long wait.
