By solving the equation numerically, the nonlinear propagation of femtosecond laser pulse with duration of several optical oscillation periods in single-model optical fiber has been simulated.
The time series of temperature are expected to be the longest possible so as to examine various modes of oscillation periods.
The solution of the nonlinear wave equation describing propagation of a femtosecond laser pulse with duration of several optical oscillation periods in a nonlinear fiber is presented.
Mysteriously the oscillation period was first measured at 1.4 days but grew shorter leading up to the 2008 blowout.
