By Christmas, Mrs, Thompson got presents wrapped in beautiful paper, except for Teddy's. His present was clumsily wrapped in the heavy, brown paper. A year later, she found a note from Teddy, telling her that she was the best teacher he ever had in his whole life. Six years later she got another note from Teddy saying that he had finished high school. Four years later, she got another letter, saying that he would soon graduate from college with the highest of honors. Then four more years another letter came.
