Recently 653 students from six middle schools in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />Guangzhou took part in a survey organised by Guangzhou Daily about students’ reading problems. According to the survey, 74.5% of the students agree to read after class, saying that out-of class reading can never be replaced by other activities. 7.6% of the students also think it’s a good idea to read after class and insist on doing so for at least one hour after class. However, 77.8% of the students can’t have time to read after class though they would love to because of too much homework.
